Project description
Modernisation of the SV Viktoria Einsiedel website, in place since 2004, with a focus on performance, usability and future-proof technology. The project covered the complete redesign and the technical implementation.
Technical implementation & results
Development of a lean WordPress template with Gutenberg support and minimal plugin dependency. An optimised code structure and modern best practices delivered 60 % faster load times. The new system makes WordPress updates safe to install without compatibility problems.
Design & branding
Development of a complete corporate design with new typography (Roboto Condensed Extra Bold) and a modern colour palette. The design was successfully rolled out across the whole club and is used for print media and social media as well.
Notable features
Implementation of a dynamic match-result system built around a central "Latest Results" element. An API connection to fussball.de for automatic data updates is planned.
Result
A modern, fast club website with an improved user experience and future-proof technology. It serves as a solid foundation for the club's digital presence and can be extended flexibly.
